The Charleston Habitat for Humanity is hosting a house dedication for Annette Lemon on Saturday, December 12th at 11 a.m. 

Many of us in the community are familiar with the process of fundraising and building a home for a family, but we often fail to see what it is like for a family to receive the keys. The Lemon family and the Charleston Habitat for Humanity is welcoming the community to a dedication of their new 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home in North Charleston. 

Financial contributions were provided by the Lucille S. Thompson Family Foundation and the Joye Law Firm.  The land was donated by James Lambright Jr. and Benjamin Lambright, two brothers who grew-up in the original house on this property. 

"The property was purchased by our parents James Lambright Sr. and Wilhelmina S. Lambright in July 1943, from Mr. Felix Pinckney. The property was a blessing to our family and we pray that it will continue to be a blessing to its new owners", says James Lambright Jr.

The Lemons are now new homeowners of an EarthCraft House which is a terrific example for the Lowcountry. Feel free to stop by and welcome the Lemon family home at 4710 Mint Avenue in North Charleston on December 12.
