On Sunday, April 17th, the Harbor Cruise for Hospitality Heroes is offering the chance to take in beautiful views of the harbor and help local hospitality employees at the same time.

The two-hour fundraising cruise will set sail from Red’s Ice House on Shem Creek at 4 p.m. aboard the Palmetto Breeze, a 100-person sailing catamaran. The Hospitality Heroes Fund was established to alleviate financial burden on local hospitality employees and their families who are impacted by medical hardship or life tragedy. One beneficiary, Dee Charland, says, “Hospitality Heroes helped us within only three weeks of my husband’s passing. We have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, and we have seen many people in need of immediate help. That is what is so wonderful about Hospitality Heroes--it is immediate.”

Tickets for the Harbor Cruise for Hospitality Heroes are $30 and include appetizers and cocktails on board provided by Red’s Icehouse. $25 reduced rate tickets are available to employees of the hospitality industry. To reserve tickets or for more information, call (843) 270-4700.
