Irvin-House Vineyards' 9th Annual Blessing of the Vines is coming up on November 12th from 1 to 5 p.m.

Come out to the vineyards and enjoy an afternoon of picnicking on the lawn, live music, wine, food and drink from Alchemy Coffee Shop, Hello My Name Is BBQ, and the Tomato Shed Cafe. There will also be craft vendors, children's activities, and Irvin-House's famous frozen wine-a-ritas, and the annual cook-off.

This year's cookoff is pitting the best "Chicken Bog or Chicken Perlo" -- whatever you call it in your neck of the woods.

All are invited and the cost of admission is only $10 per car. The blessing ceremony will start promptly at 2 p.m.

Irvin-House Vineyards is located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island.
