An exciting new holiday event at historic Middleton Place will give visitors a chance to experience the plantation by torchlight, candlelight, and starlight.

On Friday, December 18th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., join costumed interpreters as they take you back to Christmas, 1782. Stroll garden paths and allées illuminated by torches and hear stories about the joyous holiday season when the British evacuated Charleston at the end of the Revolutionary War in the south.

In the Middleton Place House, view extensive family collections by soft candlelight, and see the House seasonally decorated with fresh holiday greenery. The evening will conclude on the Greensward with live music, a warm fire and seasonal refreshments.

Advance tickets are $15 adult and $5 for children ages 7-15; ages 6 and under are free. You can get your tickets ahead of time by calling (843) 556-6020.
