Say hello to ‘Scarface’ in theaters one night only

First Report: For all you would be gangsters grab your coke(a-cola), a bag of popcorn and enjoy what many feel to be the best gangster flick of all time. Fathom Events and Coastal Grand Cinemark 14 will bring the influential gangster remake Scarface, written by Oliver Stone and directed by Brian De Palma, to Myrtle Beach for one night only.

On August 31, 2011 Tony Montana and crew bloody up the big screen to show Myrtle Beach that "The World is Yours." Dan Diamond, the vice president of NCM Fathom, had this to say about the screening:

Almost 30 years after its initial release, Scarface remains iconic and stirs passionate responses from audiences around the world. Now, fans can experience Scarface like never before in theaters with spectacularly updated visual and sound quality, and never-before-seen elements in an historic, one-night event. 

The Myrtle Beach screening of Scarface will coincide with 500 other screenings around the nation. It's a big promotion to kick-off the Blu-ray release of the film.
