Update July 15: La Fourchette, the award winning French Bistro on Upper King will be featured on the Cooking Channel's program “Unique Eats,” Saturday July 16th at 5 p.m. and August 1st at 2 a.m. and 10 p.m.

First reporting: The Cooking Channel was filming at La Fourchette French Bistro yesterday, and according to owner Perig Goulet, the eatery will be profiled in a future program of their show 'Unique Eats.'

Unique Eats spotlights America's most exciting and revolutionary restaurants; the first look and the last word in everything extreme in food today. The locations range from high-end dining rooms to casual neighborhood treasures, the most amazing examples of modern dining across America.

La Fourchette was hand-picked by Cooking Channel producers to be featured in a series on casual, high-end French Bistros that will air some time in 2011. The exact date has yet to be determined.
