Food Truck Rodeo at COAST Brewing promises local beer with local eats

Saturday October 15th will mark yet another in a series of Food Truck Rodeos, each a celebration of mobile, local food from the Charleston Food Truck Federation and everyone's inner fat kid.

The location this time is just outside COAST Brewing in North Charleston, whose adjacent fields play host to Brewvival each year. All nine Charleston food trucks will be parked there, doling out a delicious array of cheap eats.

This Rodeo is set apart not just by the location, but the extra focus on local beer. The stalwart crew from Charleston Beer Exchange will be on hand outside the brewery selling an array of local and regional draft craft for your pairing pleasure. The COAST-heavy lineup thus far, and still subject to change, includes:

COAST All Chinook Pale Ale (6.6% ABV, A, XX)
COAST HopArt IPA (7.7% ABV, A-, 96)
COAST 32/50 Kölsch (4.8% ABV, A-, 69)
COAST ALTerior Motive (altbier, this year's version just released!, 6.3% ABV, A, XX)
Holy City Pluff Mud Porter (5.5% ABV, C+, XX)
Palmetto Aftershock ("Carolina" Common)
Westbrook Vanilla Tree (Dubbel, 7.5% ABV)
RJ Rockers Son of a Peach (5.8% ABV, B, 69)

COAST Brewing is located at 1250 N 2nd Street in North Charleston. Admission is free, you'll just pay for your food and beer as you go (bring cash, people). The Rodeo runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Bring your kids, leashed pets, and something to sit on and/or eat off of. No outside food or alcohol allowed, but you'd be crazy to bring it anyway.
