Tonight at 5 p.m., The Charleston Beer Exchange will be tapping a winter favorite from the glorious Founders Brewing Company.

Backwoods Bastard is a serious Bourbon barrel-aged, strong Scotch-style ale. At over 10% ABV, and packing rich flavors of smoky and sweet caramel, oak and dark fruit, this sipper is tantalizing and contemplative. Available in all growler sizes but for those going with a 64oz or larger we'll also be giving away a limited number of Founders glasses with the fill purchase while they last!

The beer scores a 99 on Rate Beer and a 93 on Beer Advocate, so we're really in for a treat.
