The Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach announced that they will do free food distribution on the third Sunday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m until February. 

The closing of the Angel Food Ministries in September left Grand Strand residents with one less source for free or very inexpensive food.  Much like the former program, this new one in Surfside Beach does not appear to be needs-based.

The Church of the Resurrection is located at 8910 Highway 17 Bypass in Surfside Beach.  The dates of distribution are November 19th, December 17th, January 21st, and February 18th.  The church can be reached at (843) 215-4500 and you can see their website here.
