Mellow Mushroom King Street will host a “Break Your Own World Record Attempt” event for Fat & Juicy Bloody Mary drinkers after the Cooper River Bridge Run on Saturday, March 31st, from 8 a.m. until noon.
When the doors open promptly at 8 a.m., individuals and teams will be able to attempt at breaking any world record that involves a Bloody Mary like: most people drinking Bloody Mary’s on a staircase, largest gathering of Bloody Mary drinkers on a rooftop patio, or most people standing on a bar drinking Bloody Mary’s.
Heads up--The record for most people drinking Bloody Mary’s on a staircase is set at 22 people...Charleston can definitely do better than that.
If people have a creative world record attempt, they are encouraged to share their ideas on twitter using the hashtag #mymellowrecord on Thursday March 29th and Friday March 30th. The record will be recorded by The Universal Record Database, an open platform for world records. Universal Record Database was founded on a belief that everyone on earth can be the world's best at something.
All Fat & Juicy Bloody Mary’s at Mellow Mushroom Charleston on Bridge Run Saturday ordered before noon will be $3. There will also be $2 PBRs, $3 SweetWater drafts, and $3 Mimosas until noon.
