Local chefs to battle it out live in "Taste: Iron Chef Competition"

Find out which Charleston-based chefs can crack it up and crack it out during the upcoming "Taste: Iron Chef Competition."
As a lead-up to Southern Living's Taste of Charleston event on September 30, the Culinary Institute of Charleston will be hosting a showcase of local chefs in a heated head-to-head battle in the school's state-of-the-art amphitheater kitchen. After the secret ingredient is announced, the chefs will have 45 minutes to create and cook at least 4 dishes to be judged by a panel of experts.
For this year's competition, the competitors are:
Chef John Ondo of Lana & Chef Michael Karkut of Graze *VERSUS* Chef Eric Huff of Burwell’s Stone Fire Grill & Chef Daniel Doyle of Poogan’s Porch
Tickets are on sale now and range from $50 to $100 per person.
