Rare Beer Tuesday turns to The Dark Side

This Tuesday at 5pm, the Charleston Beer Exchange boys will be putting the ninth and latest beer in Terrapin Beer Company's "Side Project" series on the growler station:  The Dark Side.

Here's the official description, by way of the CBX blog:

Terrapin Side Project #9: The Dark Side, a Belgian Style Imperial Stout. Come on over to "The Dark Side" for the latest brew in the Terrapin "Side Project" series. Brewed with evil intentions, this Belgian Style Imperial Stout is made with copious amounts of dark grains that make this beer as dark as the underside of Vader's cape. "The Dark Side" is fermented with a unique Belgian yeast strain which sets this Imperial Stout light years ahead of its time.

The numbers:  a healthy 8.5% ABV, an A- from BeerAdvocate, and a 90 from Ratebeer.  This is a unique hybrid style and like all the other Side Project beer it's a one-time batch, so get it while you can.

Yes, these are the droids you're looking for.  No, I won't make any more Star Wars references.

At 14 Exchange Street the Charleston Beer Exchange lives.  Feed a meter, you might.
