The Charleston Beer Exchange is starting off the first Rare Beer Tuesday of 2012 with a Bitches Brew.

This evening at 5 p.m., CBX will be tapping a keg of Dogfish Head Bitches Brew. Bitches Brew is a 9% ABV Imperial Stout brewed with honey and gesho root celebrating the 40th anniversary of Miles Davis' famous album of the same name. It has been given a 99 on ratebeer.com and 92 on on beeradvocate.com, so this stuff is most definitely worth the trip.

The Exchange only received one small keg of this beauty, so they're limiting growler fills to 32 ounces only, one per person - first come, first served. This is serious business tonight folks, there won't be any calling ahead to hold a growler and no filling in advance. As CBX puts it, "Sorry to be strict, but this beer is in high demand and we have to be fair"

Swing by 14 Exchange Street tonight to get yourself some of this liquid gold.
