Safe Routes to School is a growing movement across the US that brings together parents, schools, and community leaders to encourage students, including those with disabilities, to walk and bike to school.
This Wednesday, March 6, schools across the state are encouraging students to walk to and/or from school. Several of the County’s recent projects focused on pedestrian and bicycle facilities that have improved and enhanced access to many Charleston County schools, making for safer travel for all.
