In celebration of World AIDS Day, The Advocates for Life and Careteam are sponsoring a beach event to bring awareness to funding shortages around the AIDS Drug Assistance Program.

On Saturday December 3rd at 10 a.m. starting at Plyler Park next to the SkyWheel, participants will gather to line the beach in support of those who are affected with HIV and the AIDS virus. From there they will be dir147 ected to form a line down the coast. Participants will receive a red umbrella to hold as they line up across the beach.

A helicopter flying over will make a video that will be posted to YouTube and shared across the Internet. We'll "Join Hands & Raise the RED Ribbon," to bring awareness of the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Horry, Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties.

When someone is infected with HIV, everyone is affected. So please help us, Advocates For Life Support Group is in its first stage.  We are a non-for-profit group and donations are tax-deductible!

The Message Is Clear: It's Time for the Truth to be Told.

Hope to see everyone at Hands Across the Strand!
