One more week to submit CreateAthon applications

It may be a long day - but it's a great one, and one that the team at Trio Solutions Inc. looks forward to each year. It's the annual CreateAthon event - a 24-hour jam-packed, high-energy, creative blitz of pro-bono work for five selected Lowcountry nonprofits.

This year, the big day is Thursday, September 16th. The mission of this day is to help organizations who do great things do what they do best - serve our community. Oftentimes, a nonprofit's budget is squeezed tight with other financial obligations and it's simply not possible to allocate dollars or time towards marketing. The crew at Trio Solutions Inc. hopes that on September 16th, when their clocks stop and all other projects are put on hold, that they will ultimately be able to create valuable marketing tools and materials that will empower the organizations' causes and efforts for years to come.

Trio Solutions Inc., the Lowcountry's official CreateAthon agency, is currently still accepting applications from area nonprofits who may be in need of some marketing help, but the deadline is set for next Friday, July 30th. Applications can be downloaded from their site. The five chosen organizations will be notified and announced on August 31.
