Stingrays lose game six of Kelly Cup; Final game tonight

The South Carolina Stingrays lost to the Alaska Aces 3-2 last night, June 4, pushing the Kelly Cup Finals to a seventh game beginning tonight, June 5, at 11:15 p.m.

Read more stories on this subject in our Kelyy Cup topic page.Despite getting off to a great start with a two goal lead in the first period, the Stingrays could not clench the title. The game ended in controversy, when a last second goal by Stingrays' Michael Dubuc was denied due to high sticking.

The season isn't over yet, and the Stingrays are not going down without a fight. And if you can't make it to Alaska for the final game, you can join in with other fans at the Centre Pointe Bar and Grill by the Tanger Outlets.
