The 7th annual Charleston Comedy Festival is almost here (update: here)

The festival is upon us.

Get ready to laugh yourself silly at 38 of the best improv, sketch and stand-up comedy shows of the year during the Charleston Comedy Festival 2010.

The festival runs from Wednesday, January 20, to Saturday, January 23.

Several returning artists are slated to perform in the Charleston Comedy Festival 2010, including Cook County Social Club, The Uprights Citizen Brigade Touring Company, The Dangerous Strangers of Cabaret Kiki, Elephant Larry and many more.

Venues for the festival this year include Theatre 99, The American Theater and Stars Bar, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Trio Club, the Music Farm, and Eye Level Art 103 Gallery. The festival has also expanded to the suburbs with two new venues: the Charleston Pour House and Centre Pointe Bar & Grill in North Charleston.
