At 7 p.m. tonight, area kids will voice their opposition to bullying through self-written poetry at the Bullies Be Gone Poetry Slam.

The event is sponsored by Community Partnership and is part of The Impact of Violence on Our Community Summit Series. It's expected that at least 10 youths from seven years old to 21 years old will participate this evening in the poetry slam.

Come out and support young local poets at the Bullies Be Gone Poetry Slam this evening at the College of Charleston's Physicians Auditorium (72 George Street).
