On Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th Middleton Place will be celebrating Independence Day old school style.

Get the low down on Charleston's 4th of July events.Re-enactors will be showing guests how the troops lived, including cooking and musket firing demonstrations in an 18th century century military camp. In addition, there will be ceremonies commemorating the contributions of Arthur and Henry Middleton, as well as the troops of the Southern Continental Army to our nation's independence.

Middleton Place opens daily at 9 a.m. and is located at 4300 Ashley River Road.
