For the third year in a row, an American Flag is traveling on the back of Harley-Davidson motorcycles across 48 continental states in the US from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

On Friday, June 29, the Flag will make its way to Low Country Harley-Davidson where is will be accepted by the Charleston HOG (Harley Owner Group). The flag will be proudly displayed on the showroom floor of the dealership overnight, and the following morning, local riders and fellow patriots will pay tribute to the Flag.

To participate in the group ride, meet at Low Country Harley-Davidson on Saturday, June 30, at 9 a.m. Kick stands will go up at 9:30 a.m. and the group will be police escorted to the Yorktown for a brief ceremony starting at 10 a.m.

With assistance from the Charleston County Sherriff’s Office, the flag and an estimated 200 riders will be escorted from Low Country Harley-Davidson to Patriots Point, where a brief ceremony will be held on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. National hero and Medal of Honor recipient, Major General James E. Livingston will say a few words at the ceremony about what the flag means to him and other veterans.

Every motorcyclist (no matter the brand) is invited to ride alongside the symbol that unites us all and the symbol that the men and women of our country fight to protect.
