Wonder Works invites locals to test out the hot new Zike Bike

Christine Osborne, owner of Wonder Works in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley and downtown Charleston, announced today that the company is devoting a free day of fun to its brand new toy, the Zike, on Saturday, December 10th, at the Mount Pleasant location from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. and the West Ashley Wonder Works location from 2 to 5 p.m.

Wonder Works was the first toy store in the nation to carry this ride on toy, and now has four different models in its stores.

Charleston locals were the first ever to own the Zike Bike when Wonder Works started carrying the hot new toy in October 2011. The Zike Bike is a freestyle hybrid scooter unlike any other ride-on toy, offering riders an innovative combination of both a scooter and a bicycle. At Wonder Works’ Zike Bike Day, locals may test four different models of the bike including the Flyby, Hotshot, Slingshot and Saber at two of the Wonder Works locations.

“We are so excited to give our customers the exclusive opportunity to be the first in the nation to try out the Zike Bike,” said Osborne. “With the holidays fast approaching, it’s a great opportunity for families to get out together and try a new toy that encourages exercise and fun.”

To join in the Zike Bike testing fun, visit Wonder Works Mount Pleasant from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 624 D Long Point Rd., or Wonder Works West Ashley from 2 to 5 p.m. at 975 Savannah Highway
