just a reminder....

Buy Local Month doesn't officially begin until November 15th, but Myrtle Beach is a little different, so we're starting early!

Around the Grand Strand there are hundreds of small shops locally owned and operated that sell locally or regionally sourced goods. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) is celebrating Buy Local Month a little early, starting today, November, 1st and going until December 17th they are offering 'Shop Our Members Discounts' featuring some of the best in local dining, shopping and more.

Additionally, the MBACC is offering a holiday money giveaway, according to the site, "Shoppers simply stop by any of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber's three welcome centers, show your receipts from local businesses totaling $150 and you'll be entered into a drawing for one of five $250 gift cards." You can enter as often as you like with new $150 receipts.

There are some great deals to be found and some awesome participating businesses involved, go check out the full list and get all the details here.

We at TheDigitel push shopping local any chance we get, so go buy some local goods this holiday season and keep money in our community.
