One of the Grand Strand's favorite holiday events is back. Beginning on December 2nd and running Friday and Saturday nights through December 17th, Brookgreen Gardens' Nights of a Thousand candles feature over 5,500 hand-lit candles throughout the property.
Enjoy concessions, carolers, hand bell ringers, glowing orbs, and beautiful sculptures as you stroll through the gardens with pathways lit only with luminary candles. For more details about the events, including dates and times, have a look at the Brookgreen Gardens site here. Tickets are $16 for adults and $7 for children ages 4 to 16 years of age. Children three and under are free. You can get them at the gate on the night of the events or online here. Tickets are non-refundable and any that remain unused will be considered a donation.
Below is a video done by our friends down at the Georgetown Times.
