International Observe the Moon Night at Ingram Planetarium
On Saturday, September 22, 2012, the Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach, NC will host the only International Observe the Moon Night event in a 150+ miles radius.
Beginning at 7 p.m., there will be a special tribute to Neil Armstrong in the planetarium and special telescopes set up outside for amazing views of the moon. Special guest, photographer and amateur astronomer Tavi Greiner will be on hand to share her knowledge and passion for the night sky. You can check out a sampling of her brilliant pictures on Flickr.
