On Saturday, April 25, Students for a Free Tibet: College of Charleston Chapter are holding a benefit that will teach others about the Tibetan Freedom Movement and what it means to work for peace.

The event will feature an evening of live music from four different local bands, dinner catered by Sermet's Corner, poetry, and speeches from Geshe Dakpa Topgyal.

Suggested donation is just $5 with all proceeds going to the Charleston Tibetan Society and Students for a Free Tibet.

The event is open to students and the community. It will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. at Gage Hall located at 4 Archdale Street in downtown Charleston.
