The Charleston Tea Party: Come protest the stimulus package (updated)

Update 2: The rally is about to start, and Sanford will also be attending the Charleston rally. The Columbia rally drew a pretty sizable crowd so it will be interesting to see this one.

If you're pissed that the stimulus is spending billions in taxpayer dollars, then come protest it downtown.

The Charleston Tax Day Tea Party is part of a national event and will a rally on April 15 at downtown at the Old Customs House building from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There area several rallies around the state today, with Sanford himself speaking in Columbia at 1, and Sen. Jim DeMint speaking here at 5:30.
