Water Missions International is hosting its 6th Annual Walk for Water on Saturday, March 24th, to spread awareness about the global water crisis and raise money to provide safe water for people in need.

The Water Missions International Walk for Water advocates for those affected by the global water crisis while raising funds to provide safe water around the globe. During the approximately 3.5 mile walk, participants carry a bucket filled with water to symbolize the trek that women and children make each day to collect water in developing countries.

The walk will begin and end in Cannon Park at the corner of Calhoun St. and Rutledge Avenue in downtown Charleston. The walk is a family-friendly event, and people of all ages are encouraged to form teams and raise funds to support Water Missions International. Individual registration is $15 and includes a t-shirt. Children 10 and under are free, but this does not include a t-shirt. To register, click here.
