The Big Kahuna Fishing Tournament is coming to the Folly Beach Fishing Pier Friday, August 28, beginning at 6 a.m.

This is the summer's largest local fishing tournament where reeling in a state record-breaking whiting, spot, or croaker qualifies you for a chance to win a boat, complete with motor and trailer.

Entry fees range from $7-$14 depending on age.
