Update March 24: The Charleston Battery plays fellow USL PRO side the Wilmington Hammerheads in its final home pre-season scrimmage today at 4 p.m.

First reporting: The Charleston Battery will play a ten game pre-season schedule as it prepares for the start of the USL PRO season in April.

The Battery kicks off its preparations with a scrimmage versus the College of Charleston on February 21st then three tough matches against Major League Soccer opposition in the Carolina Challenge Cup, February 25 – March 3 at Blackbaud Stadium.

Here's a look at the full pre-season schedule:

• February 21 @ College of Charleston - 8 p.m. 
• February 25 vs Columbus Crew - 7:15 p.m. 
• February 29 vs D.C. United - 7:15 p.m. 
• March 3 vs Chicago Fire - 7:15 p.m. 
• March 7 @ Coastal Carolina University - 5 p.m. 
• March 10 @ Atlanta Silverbacks - 4 p.m.
• Mar 17 vs. Clemson University/College of Charleston - 2 p.m.
• March 24 vs. Wilmington Hammerheads - 4 p.m. 
• March 25 vs. Coastal Carolina - 2 p.m. 
• March 29 @ Carolina Railhawks - TBD
