In an unexpected turn of events, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks are heading into the College World Series finals.

The Gamecocks knocked the Clemson Tigers out of the competition with back-to-back wins and are slated to play UCLA for the national title beginning on Monday night with first pitch set for 7:30 p.m. The two teams will battle it out in a best of three series.
