Golf tournament to benefit local family's loss

Myrtle Beach sees a lot of benefit golf tournaments. Each support a great cause or organization. So when a benefit comes around to support one of Myrtle Beach's own it is worth noting.

David Leroy Null was taken from the Myrtle Beach community and his family at an early age in a tragic accident. He is leaving behind a wife and two young sons. A few local businesses and concerned patrons are putting together a benefit for Null's family.

David Leroy Null, age 40, died Monday, June 6, 2011. David was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach and owned and operated DNA Apparel in Conway. He was a proud member of the United States Bowling Congress and the 250 Masters Club. He loved working with youth and sports and combined then and coached the Surfside Recreation Department and Carolina Braves AAU Baseball Team in Conway. Mr. Null loved riding his Harley, bowling, golfing, and water sports. A proud husband & father of 2 boys, Tyler 17, and Devin 12, his untimely death will leave all who knew him heartbroken.

David loved to play golf. Please join us to honor his memory with a benefit golf tournament.
