Highrollers prep for this weekend's Mother of All Bouts (update: All-Stars win, Betties lose)

Update May 23: Fans came out in droves to catch the hottest action on four wheels this weekend.

Finals scores from Saturday's bouts:

  • River City Rollergirls Uncivil Warriors 112 
  • Lowcountry Highrollers Bruisin' Betties 66
  • Lowcountry Highrollers All-Stars 132 
  • Palmetto State Rollergirls 97

It was a big win for the Lowcountry Highroller All-Stars who are currently undefeated and hold a 6-0 record on the season. 

First reporting: Both Highrollers teams take it to the track on May 21st for the league’s second double-header of the season, The Mother of All Bouts.

The Bruisin’ Betties kick off the action with a bout against the Uncivil Warriors of River City, Virginia, then Highrollers All Stars hit the track and take on Myrtle Beach’s Palmetto State Rollergirls.

In addition to the bouts, fans can gulp down some beers and jam out to music by DJ duo Cassidy & the Kid while the kiddies get down on some games and face-painting action. Keep partying with the Highrollers afterward at Patrick’s Pub, located at 1377 Ashley River Road.

Per usual, The Mother of All Bouts is happening at The Citadel's McAlister Field House (171 Moultrie Street). Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the first bout begins at 4:30 p.m. Get your tickets today.
