First reporting: The Charleston RiverDogs' annual Run Forrest Run 5K returns to The Joe on May 21st.

The race begins at 5 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park and follows a course that is TAC certified, featuring split times at each mile marker as well as a water station at the halfway point. New to the race this year: chip timing!

Early registration ends on Wednesday, May 18th, at 11:59 p.m. The cost is $30 per person and includes entry in the race, a t-shirt, finishing the race at home plate while greeted by RiverDogs players, tickets to the evening's game vs. the Augusta GreenJackets, a post-race party with food and drink, and an in-game awards ceremony.

Like to procrastinate? On-site registration will be held from 12 to 4:30 p.m. on the day of the race. Take note, however, that the price jumps to $35 for on-site registration.
