Update January 8: The College of Charleston was beat up by North Carolina last night, falling to the Tar Heels 108-70.

The Cougars are now 10-3.

First reporting: The College of Charleston basketball team is in Chapel Hill tonight. The Cougars (10-2) are looking to put a little more salt in the Tar Heel's wounds. UNC (13-1) was handed its first loss of the season by Boston College on Sunday.

CofC and UNC will play three games in the next three seasons, with UNC traveling to Charleston next year, and the Cougars heading back to Chapel Hill in 2011.

Tonight's tip off is at 9.
