The College of Charleston is welcoming the community to the school's new 5,000-seat Carolina First Center (aka Basketball stadium) on Meeting Street with "a 'meet and greet' with the athletes, free food, facility tours, door prizes" and three attendees will take a shot from the half-court mark for a chance to win $5,000 -- Those names will be drawn at random.

The event is Tuesday, November 18, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
