Eco Deco Partners with Local Interior Designers to 'Think Pink' for Hollings Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program

CHARLESTON, SC – September 30, 2011 –The research is clear - chemicals found in everyday household products increase our exposure to carcinogens – and the possibility of increased risk for some cancers. These toxic carcinogens found in traditional paints can leak into your home for up to six years after initial application. To help reinforce the importance of health-conscious products as it relates to breast cancer awareness and prevention, Eco Deco will host the ‘Pink Party’ on Thursday October 13, 2011 from 5:00-8:00p.m., highlighting the importance of breast cancer awareness, as well as raising funds for MUSC Hollings Cancer Center breast cancer research through a donation of the night’s proceeds. The party will feature festive refreshments and gourmet bites from Graze restaurant, in addition to Eco Deco’s featured local interior designers highlighted on the showroom’s ‘Wall of Colors’ as well as special guests Peggy Phillips of Tomboy Tools and Melissa Hunter of M.H. Interiors. A raffle, special product promotions and interior design information will entertain attendees, and a representative from Hollings Cancer Center will speak on the topic of breast cancer treatment and research in our local community.
