Jack knows the Constitution, do you?

In celebration of Constitution Day, CCU associate professor, Jack Riley will present a lecture about interpreting the US Constitution on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 6 p.m.

With everyone swearing to abandon their Facebook accounts to avoid hearing politic rhetoric from "friends", it's easy to forget what the whole thing is about.  When the president takes (or retakes, as will be determined) office in January 2013, he will vow, among other things, to "...protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."  If you were ever interested in learning more about this founding document and what it means in today's society, here is your chance.

The lecture, “The Constitution: A Fixed or Flexible Document?” will be in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts’ Recital Hall in room 152 and is free and open to the public.  For more information, including details about Mr. Riley, head on over to the CCU site.
