You can always catch the jolly old elf in the typical spots, but we got word that he and his helpers are hanging out in some open-air arenas, ready to take pictures with the little ones and those with fur.

Thompson's Farm in Conway is hosting Santa in their Winter Wonderland every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting today and running through December 23, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m.  The events will include all sorts of activities.  You can check out the flier on their Facebook page here. Last, Myrtle Beach State Park is holding their annual Santa on the Beach event on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  There will be games, contests, and photos with the big guy in red for both children and pets.  Bring your own camera.  For the full schedule, click here.
