#MYRsports: CCU's Josh Norman makes a home on the Panthers

Josh Norman prides himself on being a Carolina Boy, so much so that he couldn't be happier that he was drafted by the Carolina Panthers this past weekend in the fifth round of the NFL draft.

Norman, born in raised in South Carolina has been a fixture for some time in Myrtle Beach. Making a name for himself on the field as a star Cornerback for Coastal Carolina University. 

Norman's CCU player bio states:

Preseason All-American and All-Big South Conference ... Listed as one fo the top 10 defensive backs for 2011 by The Sports Network ... Currently tied for second (with his brother and All-American Marrio) on Coastal's career interceptions list with 11 and pass break ups list with 23 ... His three career blocked kicks is one shy of the Coastal Carolina record.
