First reporting:

The aquarium was the place to be Thursday evening as Charleston Waterkeeper hosted the first Water Ball.  Guests donned formal evening wear while they sipped Firefly Vodka, Coast Brewing and Fat Tire beer all while experiencing the visually stunning marine life that the aquarium boasts.  

The night was extremely interactive, and party goers were asked to pour water into the "water machine" which measured how much money the event raised while also being a metaphor for the fight for clean water against pollution.  Charleston Waterkeeper also unveiled their iPhone app, which is quite nifty.
