Update November 10:

Avondale's Italian eatery has garnered yet another positive review, this time from the Charleston City Paper's Brys Stephens.

Stephens throws in some constructive criticism about his most recent meal, but the fact remains that Al di La offers some of the best high-quality Italian fare in the Lowcountry.

First reporting:

If you're looking for some authentic Italian cuisine to make you feel like you're in the old country, look no further than West Ashley's Al di La.

Charleston Magazine's Patricia Agnew has a wonderful restaurant review for those who have yet to experience the trattoria, and a remind to return to those who have. The Avondale neighborhood favorite serves up Italian favorites that celebrate flavor and simplicity and freshness. In addition to incredible dishes, the Italian wine list is out of this world.

Agnew's review is well worth the read, so go check it out.
