Get your Easter bonnet ready for the 8th annual Easter Weekend at Freshfields Village. Begin the holiday weekend on Friday, April 6 with a free outdoor concert featuring Plane Jane, then continue the fun on Saturday, April 7 at the free Easter Festival from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wrap up the weekend by donning your Sunday best for Easter Service on the Green Sunday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m.

Friday, April 6: Free concert with Plane Jane, 6 to 9 p.m. – Locals favorite party band, Plane Jane, hits the stage with six vocalists and two multi-instrumentalists to perform everything from shag to 60’s favorites.

Saturday, April 7: Easter Festival, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Bring the family for a day filled with Easter-themed activities and crafts, an inflatable slide, jump castle and face painters. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance, so guests are encouraged to bring a camera! Entertainer John Cusatis will host an interactive performance involving his audience, and the Kiawah Island Nature Center staff will bring live, native animals including alligators, snakes and turtles. The afternoon will conclude with an art show by The Kiawah & Seabrook Artist Guilds.   The event is free and family friendly, and food and beverage will be available for purchase. The festival is sponsored by The Town of Kiawah.

Sunday, April 8: Easter Service on the Green, 9:30 a.m. – Cavalry of the Sea Islands Church will hold a casual service open to anyone on the Village Green. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket for seating.
