When a handful of Murrells Inlet restaurateurs met with S.C. Sen. Ray Cleary at Dave's Dockside on March 27 to talk about the senator's bill, S 461, which would mandate recycling by restaurants with on premise alcohol permits, they wanted to know how much this proposed legislation would cost them.

Turns out some of these restaurant owners had misconceptions about recycling, such as whether glass naturally decomposes and how much recycling costs.

This article also shows how the proposed mandatory restaurant recycling bill does not include all the data required to fully implement its ideas.
