Mt. Pleasant college student experiences a week as a food stamp recipient

For his thesis paper, Devin Keck plans to live off food stamps for a week, that's just $3 of groceries a day.
ABC News 4 has the story on his plan.
It's a fine line for Keck to walk between a learning experience and making a mockery of the lives of far too many Americans. That said, you have to wonder how much good would come from us all living a week like the less fortunate.
Bring to mind the "30 Days" episode where the couple tried to live off minimum wage.
