Late-night favorite The Recovery Room on Upper King Street has long been one of the nation's top consumers of the canned golden lager, so much so that last January the bar took the #2 spot in a ranking of the nation's top consumers.

It seems they've been keeping it up and nearly took the #1 spot this time around, and over at the Charleston City Paper Stephanie Barna laments that the top spot was missed by just a few dozen cases.

Oh well, at least they have plenty of PBR to drown their sorrows in.
