An unlikely spot for your lunch break: Costco

The Post and Courier's Rob Young has featured an unlikely spot for a cheap lunch: Costco.

If I had been drinking milk, it would have come through my nose.

Still, I think Young's got a point. There really are some good buys on prepared food there.

And, yes, though you needn't a membership to buy the prepared food, I'm hard pressed to think many will navigate the road, parking lot, and crowd just for a bargain on a hot dog.

I'll gladly be proved wrong, though.

Go dive into Young's piece.

Charleston has one Costco, it's at 3050 Ashley Town Center Drive in West Ashley.
