Charities need help in providing Thanksgiving for locals

Help4Kids, Toomey's Kids, and the Salvation Army are all looking for assistance as they provide a Thanksgiving meal for local children and seniors.

Help4Kids is an organization that provides food, clothing, and toys to children whose families are in needl.  Toomey's Kids is a charity that works to provide for special needs children. Both are based in Murrells Inlet and are working together with K&W Cafeteria to distribute 500 Thanksgiving meals at a cost of $5 per meal.  To learn how to financially contribute, check out this article from The Sun News.

The Salvation Army is providing Thanksgiving meals to local seniors and are looking for volunteers to help pack them up on Thursday and Friday, November 17 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  If you can help, read this article, also from The Sun News, for information on how to participate.
