Market Street Saloon's barbeque in North Charleston gets a thumbs up

Robert Moss journeyed up to the old Sticky Fingers location on the perimeter of Northwoods Mall to try, what is admittedly a frightful scenario: "the world's best barbeque" made at a saloon, the Market Street Saloon.

Despite also being home to a mechanical bull, Moss says we should be surprised in a good way, while the meat or sauces aren't terribly regional or inspired, they are all well done.

Take a read about the whole experience over at the Charleston City Paper.

They're at 7690 Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston. (843) 576-4116. You can check out their full menu online.

Update October 6: The Post and Courier is reporting that following the discovery of cancer in the dog, Holly, she was euthanized; get the details over here.
