Mexican street food joint, Zocalo, arrives in Park Circle (update: review)
Update May 17: It had been a while since we'd heard any talk of Park Circle's Zocalo, but the Charleston City Paper's Robert Moss recently released an honest and detailed review of the street food-style restaurant.
Moss gives an honest take on the menu items, which include almost a dozen different tacos, tostadas, the epic looking Sonoran hot dog and of course, the tequila. With the food items being a bit hit or miss, the tequila selection is expansive and guaranteed to whet your whistle.
I won't go into too much details, as Moss' review covers all the bases and provides great photos to boot. Go take a look.
First reporting: Park Circle's new restaurant on the E. Montague Avenue block, Zocalo, opened for business last week.
Dubbed a Mexican street food joint, the spot is serving up tacos, tortas, a Sonoran hot dog and plenty of tequila.
The Charleston City Paper has a brief on the new restaurant located at 1049 E. Montague Avenue; read it here.
